Free tickets dished out to Wellington community groups

Anthem ‘V.I.Pinks’ paid forward their Pride by supporting more than two dozen people from three Wellington community groups to join the fun at Anthem Pride Party free of charge earlier this year.

Tickets were given to volunteers and community members from the Aotearoa New Zealand Sex Workers' Collective (NZPC), Outerspaces, and the NZ AIDS Foundation Awhina Centre. These organisations all work incredibly hard assisting vulnerable locals in our rainbow communities, locals who often have limited means to purchase tickets to events like Anthem Party.

Anthem Pride Party on 10 April at Eva Beva and El Barrio was the first at which attendees had the option of purchasing the new V.I.Pink premium ticket. In addition to two drinks and an exclusive gift which was a Pride Angel Wing Necklace, a portion of each V.I.Pink ticket price went to giving community members less able the chance to light the d-floor with Pride as well.

❤ Everyone at Anthem Party would like to take this moment to send our aroha and hugs to Calum (pictured) who is presently in hospital recovering from a nasty car accident on SH1 near Paekakariki. ❤
