Promoter, Josiah Pasikale says the Anthem Party concept entails a trade off which a beautiful new element of the V.I.Pink ticket helps address in a small but oh so sweet way.
“Anthem tickets are pricey and that can be a challenge for low income earners, which is a sad consequence of staging an elaborate, high value production like Anthem Party. But to help some of these people to come, especially to Anthem Pride Party we have transformed the VIP ticket into a ‘pay it forward’ ticket. This means a portion of each V.I.Pink ticket price will go towards a free ticket to a volunteer or member from a rainbow community organisation in Wellington,” explains Josiah.
So on top of entry into what is shaping up to be our biggest party yet, your V.I.Pink ticket means more rainbow low-income earners can come too. But that’s not all… Let’s unpack all four reasons why this is the ticket for you.

Instead of a custom FabulousMe Fan, we feel it’s time to change it up a little. We cannot reveal details about the gift at this stage, but suffice to say it is something you can wear at the party and take home with you at the end! For those that love to fan, we hope to make some original designs available to purchase before and during the party.
2. POLE POSITION
V.I.Pink ticketholders receive exclusive access to a brand new V.I.Pink area that will, this time, offer hands down the best dancefloor position. We were conscious that the V.I.P area at Labour Weekend wasn’t well used and so are reimagining the space completely. We’ll share more once the floor plan is confirmed.
3. DRINKIES & BAR
We’re delighted to confirm the return of Absolut Vodka as our proud alcoholic beverage partner. Courtesy of Absolut and Eva Beva, two complementary drinks with a non-alcoholic option will come your way. Plus, since we are taking over El Barrio (upstairs) on the night as well, we will have more space for a limited menu V.I.Pink bar to reduce waiting times for bar service.
4. PAY FORWARD YOUR PRIDE
And finally, one of the beautiful things about our Pride communities is their diversity including the way in which we all come together regardless of our background or employment status. To that end, we’re baking that into Anthem. Before April 10, we will contact our community partners such as the NZ AIDS Foundation and Outerspaces to let them know that you, who purchased a V.I.Pink ticket, would like to make sure that some of their members and volunteers can attend Anthem free of charge!
